Welcome
The Age of
Intelligence
Kauli puts AI to work on the paperwork that eats your week — bids, follow-ups, chasing subs and their paperwork — always under your control, on a platform where your data stays yours.
Free for your first six months — and if public pricing isn’t out by then, it stays free until it is.
The Problem
Hard numbers.
Hard truths.
Decades in the making. Numbers don’t lie.
Construction is the only major US sector less productive today than in the 1970s.
US construction labour productivity has fallen by roughly 30% since 1970 — while the wider economy nearly doubled and manufacturing grew 90%. It is the only major sector to go backwards, and a 2026 analysis finds it still sliding, at about 0.6% every year since the mid-1960s.
— Goldman Sachs, “Why Has Productivity in US Construction Stagnated?” (2026)
Bad data may have cost construction $1.85 trillion in a single year.
In 2020, inaccurate, incomplete, and inaccessible data may have cost the global construction industry an estimated $1.85 trillion — including $88.7 billion in rework alone, nearly a seventh of all rework performed that year. Most of it traces to information teams can’t find, trust, or reuse.
— Autodesk & FMI, “Harnessing the Data Advantage in Construction” (2021)
The US construction industry is 349,000 workers short.
US construction needs to attract 349,000 net new workers in 2026 — a figure set to rise to an estimated 456,000 in 2027 as spending resumes. Most of that demand is driven by retirement: the senior estimators, supers, and PMs who leave take decades of operational knowledge with them when they go.
What We Build
The paperwork we take
off your plate.
Kauli starts where the pain is worst — winning the right work and keeping subs in line. Every product works the same way: AI drafts the work, and your team reviews and approves it.

Know-How That Never Retires
This is where we’ve started, not where we stop — and our pilot partners help set what comes next.
The Platform Underneath
The platform
that compounds.
Underneath everything is one platform that pays attention. It learns how your firm works from every correction your team makes — and every Kauli agent works like a new hire: supervised first, trusted with more as it earns it, never holding keys you didn’t hand it. Every action is logged, and nothing goes out without your say-so.
People retire. The knowledge shouldn’t.
Every project — bids, RFIs, schedules, change orders, punch lists, vendor performance — becomes structured intelligence the next project can use. The platform learns from every correction your team makes, sharpening its accuracy on how your firm specifically operates. The senior estimator who’s retiring? Their patterns stay in your platform — and keep compounding long after they’re gone. All of it is written down and kept in one place: readable by your team, owned by you, never locked in a vendor’s black box.
One clear picture
Kauli is built to work alongside the tools you already run — Procore, Sage, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, email, spreadsheets — and surface the picture none of them shows alone, as connectors arrive. Not just one project at a time — your entire portfolio in one view. Where you’re profitable. Where you’re slipping. Which patterns keep repeating.
Intelligence Included
No AI subscriptions to shop for and no AI accounts to manage — the intelligence comes built in, we set it up with you, and it gets better at your work over time. A person stays in charge: agents prepare the work, your team approves it, and you have full control over which processes can run fully automated. Your information is walled off to your company alone. And if you ever leave, your data leaves with you.
Our Approach
We learn how your operation actually runs, then configure the platform around it — shaped to your work, not the other way around.
Your World. Your Data. Your AI.
Built by Operators
Most AI-for-construction startups are technologists who’d never been on a jobsite before they raised their seed round. We’re not.
We’ve estimated bids, managed subs, fought over scope gaps, and chased closeout signatures. That’s why we can shape the platform to fit your operation — and why we can talk to your team in the language they already use.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What industries does Kauli serve?
Construction — general contractors, specialty trades, and the engineers and owners around them. We’ve run the operations we build for. And when a firm outside construction has a problem worth solving, we talk.
I already have project management tools. Why do I need this?
Most construction software gives every company the same workflows. Kauli learns how your operation actually runs — your scoping conventions, your trade divisions, your document templates — and builds tools around that. They get smarter and grow as your team works, run on the AI provider you choose, and your data stays yours.
How is this different from ChatGPT or Copilot?
ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, Claude — each is a single, general-purpose model, and the context you feed it lives with that provider, not with you. Kauli differs in three ways. It accumulates: every correction and outcome becomes intelligence saved in your own knowledge base, which your team can search and which you own outright. It acts: agents do the work under the permissions you grant, not just answer questions. And it comes managed: Kauli runs the AI machinery for you — no AI provider accounts to shop for, no keys to manage. You connect the accounts you already work in, like Google or Microsoft, and your team stays free to create agents, build workflows, and decide exactly what each one may do. Self-hosted options exist for enterprise deployments.
How is this different from the software I already run?
It works alongside it, not instead of it. Most project-management platforms and bid networks are systems of record — places where information gets filed. Kauli is the layer that does the work: it reads, drafts, levels, and chases, then files the results back into the records you already keep. No rip-and-replace, and nothing to migrate.
What about data privacy?
Every client’s data is kept completely separate from every other company’s. We never use your data to train AI models — your bid data, cost estimates, and subcontractor relationships belong to you. The platform’s AI is managed and governed by Kauli, and enterprise deployments can run self-hosted models so your data never leaves your network. Everything is encrypted, logged, and exportable. If you leave, your data leaves with you.
We’re not ready for AI yet.
That’s actually a good reason to talk now. We offer a free AI readiness assessment — eighteen questions, about five minutes. It benchmarks where you stand and produces a report with specific recommendations. No obligation.
When can I actually use it?
We’re early, and we say so plainly. The pilot partner group begins working with the platform in Q4 2026; general availability follows in 2027. Pilot partners use the products as we build them and shape what ships — the program is small by design, so if you want in, apply early.
How do I get started?
Apply for the Free Pilot — that’s the way in before general availability. Not ready for that? Start a conversation or take the free AI readiness assessment, and we’ll go from there.
Pilot Partners
Build it
with us.
We’re taking a small pilot group of firms — free for your first six months — and free until public pricing is out, if that takes longer — because we personally set up and tune every firm’s system. In exchange: real tenders, honest feedback, and the chance to shape what ships. The pilot group begins Q4 2026.
